Glacier National Park
Going-to-the Sun Road is one of the most spectacular drives in the world. It promises sensational mountain scenery and the opportunity to view wildlife up close. This 50-mile trans-mountain highway follows the banks of glacial lakes, passes through sloping forests of deep emerald green, skirts sheer cliff walls with gentle waterfalls and beautiful wildflowers, before ascending to its windswept alpine meadows at Logan Pass.
